Responsibilities
- Take validated proof-of-concepts and build the first production deployment.
- Deploy and operate computer vision systems on edge hardware.
- Work on-site with the customer’s engineering team during the initial deployment phase.
- Write production-grade code that addresses real-world computer vision challenges.
- Provide valuable feedback to Product and Engineering teams based on customer interactions.
- Document deployment architecture and train the customer’s team for independent operation.
- Identify and resolve technical risks early in the deployment process.
- Codify repeatable deployment patterns and create reusable artifacts.
Requirements
- Experience deploying technology in physical-world environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with systems-level work.
- Hands-on experience deploying machine learning or computer vision models.
- Experience with edge computing hardware and constraints.
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective customer engagement.
- Experience in target verticals such as manufacturing or logistics.
- Willingness to travel 40-50% for on-site deployments.
