Automation Test Software Engineer, Manufacturing

- Develop automated test suites to verify hardware functionality and performance.
- Create user-friendly interfaces that help non-technical users diagnose issues.
- Implement error-capturing mechanisms that provide actionable troubleshooting insights.
- Collaborate with hardware, quality assurance, manufacturing engineering, and production teams to integrate and improve testing tools.
- Continuously improve testing frameworks for efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
- Experience building hardware test automation, instrumentation, or tooling and working directly with hardware.
- Proficiency in Python for test and tooling work.
- At least two years of experience with Rust or C++ to work in services under test.
- Knowledge of networking principles, including CAN and Ethernet protocols.
- Experience with hardware interfacing and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark and CANoe.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles relevant to secure and reliable sensor data transmission.
- Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- US person status and eligibility to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
