Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software components in modern C++ and Rust.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test software for microscopy solutions.
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment/delivery in an agile development environment.
- Use AI coding assistants and agents, prompt and context engineering, and AI-supported code review and testing.
- Explore and integrate new technologies, including agentic workflows and tooling, into the platform and CI/CD pipeline.
- Assess AI-generated C++ and Rust code for correctness, security, memory safety, concurrency, undefined behavior, and performance.
Requirements
- Excellent proficiency in C++ or Rust, with experience in both preferred.
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience for application software or large-scale professional systems.
- Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable field.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with software architecture, design patterns, modern development tools, agile practices, and CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI in software development, such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, prompt and context engineering, and AI-supported code review and testing.
- Preferred experience building agentic workflows or tooling using LLM APIs, tool calling, MCP, or multi-agent patterns.
- Adaptability, collaboration, and a solution-oriented mindset.
