Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and design documentation to create manual test scenarios and cases.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory, risk-based, and end-to-end testing across web, iOS, and Android applications.
- Validate responsive behavior, mobile user experiences, notifications, device-specific functionality, integrations, performance, and customer-facing workflows.
- Identify, document, prioritize, reproduce, and track defects through resolution, including detailed evidence and root-cause investigation support.
- Perform API validation covering requests, responses, integrations, data accuracy, and error handling using Postman or comparable tools.
- Support automated test development and maintenance, execute and review automated test results, and collaborate with automation engineers to improve coverage and efficiency.
- Support release go/no-go recommendations and participate in quality improvements, on-call support, and production deployment rotations as required.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in software testing, quality assurance, or quality engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing methodologies, test execution, test cases, test scenarios, and test plans derived from business requirements.
- Experience testing web, iOS, and Android applications and performing functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with defect management tools and defect lifecycle processes within Agile/Scrum development teams.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or comparable tools.
- Experience developing and maintaining performance scripts using NeoLoad or comparable tools.
- Experience performing API testing with Postman or similar tools.
- Preferred experience includes scalable test automation frameworks, CI/CD test integration, healthcare or regulated software, mobile testing platforms, test data management, test environment configuration, performance or security testing, cloud-based applications, and cross-team quality improvements.
