Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
- Drive architectural vision and strategy for complex systems.
- Research and integrate new technologies, APIs, and AI/ML capabilities.
- Collaborate with Product, GTM, R&D, and external stakeholders on tailored solutions.
- Develop solutions for high-profile customers whose requirements are not currently supported by the product.
- Contribute across multiple products, teams, and technical stacks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of backend software development experience with strong Java and Spring Boot expertise.
- 4+ years of experience as a staff or principal engineer leading cross-functional and cross-feature initiatives.
- Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.
- Extensive experience developing and maintaining large-scale, cloud-based web applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and technology research skills.
- Interest in working across multiple projects and technical stacks.
