Base Salary

$106k - $183k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, testing, maintenance, and lifecycle management of non-embedded software.
  • Translate customer requirements into software architectures, designs, interfaces, algorithms, and implementation plans.
  • Develop, enhance, optimize, and integrate software products and features.
  • Diagnose and resolve defects and technical issues while incorporating user feedback into product improvements.
  • Evaluate technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes relevant to software development.
  • Establish and improve software processes, tools, metrics, and compliance practices.
  • Conduct and document software research and development projects.
  • Provide technical guidance on software domains, system challenges, processes, and regulations.
  • Perform software project management activities and oversee supplier relationships and deliverables.
  • Track team and supplier performance for compliance with project plans and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
  • Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance and eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information; U.S. citizenship is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Java, C++, Angular or React.js, HTML, and CSS.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing software products in a cloud environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Preferred Level 3 qualification is 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience includes Linux, AWS, VSCode, Maven, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, WildFly, MongoDB, Helm, REST API integration, and cloud microservice architectures.
  • Must satisfy Boeing’s conflict-of-interest assessment, complete the CodeVue technical assessment, and meet U.S. export control requirements as a U.S. Person.
