Base Salary
$130k - $279k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-level designs and oversee GitLab deployments to customer environments using Terraform, Ansible, and the GitLab Environment Toolkit.
- Engage with customers under a Statement of Work to drive high-quality outcomes.
- Plan and execute migrations from source systems to GitLab using tools like Congregate.
- Provide DevSecOps consulting and guidance on best practices using GitLab Flow and AI-assisted development.
- Lead and mentor Professional Services and partner consultants, coordinating implementation activities.
- Partner with various stakeholders to scope and create Statements of Work and lead technical discovery sessions.
- Stay current on GitLab product releases and share insights with the Professional Services team.
- Support technical vetting of partner consultants and new hire candidates.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex, customer-facing technical consulting engagements.
- Proven ability to design scalable architectures for GitLab or similar DevOps platforms.
- Experience leading cross-functional delivery teams with a focus on collaboration and accountability.
- Deep familiarity with modern DevOps and DevSecOps practices and tooling.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools, particularly Terraform and Ansible.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead technical discovery sessions.
- Ability to operate autonomously in a remote, distributed work environment.
