Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, testable, scalable software within established timelines.
- Build reusable user-interface software components for Risk solutions.
- Collaborate with managers, developers, user-interface and visual designers, and product managers to meet functional requirements.
- Participate in project scoping, scheduling, task tracking, and escalation of blockers.
- Create and support automated tests with extensive code coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and follow secure software development policies and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency developing user interfaces in JavaScript using React, Angular, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Docker containers, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of version control and CI/CD concepts, with knowledge of Git, Gradle, and/or GitHub workflows.
- Strong interpersonal, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proof of the right to work in the UK.
- Equivalent combinations of related education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the listed qualifications.
