Responsibilities
- Design and implement resilience practices, including SLIs, SLOs, error-budget dashboards, and reliability standards for critical services.
- Build and integrate observability libraries, agents, monitoring architectures, and Golden Signals using Grafana and Datadog.
- Participate in on-call rotations, lead the technical resolution of critical incidents, perform deep debugging, and conduct blameless post-mortems.
- Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code, manage cluster health and migrations, and automate CI/CD pipelines with safe deployment testing and automatic rollbacks.
- Design, execute, and analyze global load and capacity tests to identify platform failure points before production impact.
- Develop tools, scripts, and self-service solutions to eliminate recurring manual operational work.
- Implement vulnerability scanning, secure secrets management, and technical responses to security incidents affecting availability.
- Share technical solutions, document runbooks, and mentor engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and post-mortems.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or platform-oriented software engineering roles.
- Strong experience writing clean, maintainable code in Go, Python, Java, or Kotlin for internal tools, bots, instrumentation libraries, and automation.
- Expertise with AWS and infrastructure automation using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Extensive hands-on experience administering, configuring, and troubleshooting Kubernetes and Docker.
- Direct experience configuring and debugging monitoring, tracing, and logging tools including Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD, including advanced deployment strategies such as canary, blue/green, and automatic rollback.
- Technical knowledge of performance tuning and failure troubleshooting in MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Ability to share technical solutions, document runbooks, and guide other engineers through technical example.
