Base Salary
$210k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop secure, responsive backend APIs optimized for speed, scalability, and availability.
- Develop, deploy, maintain, and operate the Postman Flows runtime and associated cloud infrastructure.
- Benchmark, refactor, and optimize systems for high performance, uptime, and reliability.
- Create tools to automate engineering workflows and improve backend efficiency.
- Maintain strong test coverage, operational playbooks, observability, and troubleshooting processes.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, designers, and product managers on backend solutions and architecture integration.
- Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, mentor engineers, and influence technical decisions across teams.
- Manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP using Crossplane and infrastructure-as-code tools.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience shipping production-level software.
- Strong foundation in Node.js and/or Golang.
- Proven ability to deliver impactful projects independently and collaboratively.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure APIs, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Deep commitment to test-driven development, operational excellence, robust software practices, and reliable distributed systems.
- Experience contributing to 0-to-1 products is preferred.
- Background working with developer tools or similar technical products is preferred.
- Familiarity with developer tools for Serverless or PaaS is preferred.
