Responsibilities
- Contribute to Layer 1 development of a UE Simulator for 6G development.
- Perform analysis, system design, pre-development, and incremental implementation within an agile team.
- Develop high-quality C or C++ software for simulator solutions.
- Support Ericsson internal users and help improve the UE Simulator platform.
- Use Agentic AI, coding assistants, and specification-driven development practices to improve productivity and software quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s-level education, or equivalent level of knowledge, in telecommunications, computer science, software engineering, IT, or a related area; candidates in their last semesters may apply.
- Entry-level knowledge of embedded programming, ideally in the telecommunications sector.
- Software engineering skills in C or C++ and knowledge of DPDK.
- Knowledge of multithreading, parallel processing, and L1 or L2 protocols.
- Interest in AI-first engineering and eagerness to learn specification-driven and AI-driven software engineering practices.
- Good spoken and written English skills.
