Responsibilities
- Support the design, implementation, test verification, and production of digital electronic equipment and other hardware systems using a full life-cycle approach.
- Contribute to mission systems involving navigation, targeting, and self-protection technologies.
Requirements
- Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university and remain enrolled full-time in Fall 2027.
- Major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related STEM field.
- Be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and program special access.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is preferred.
- Preferred coursework includes C, C++, Java, software architecture, multithreaded programming, embedded operating systems, version control, and software planning tools.
Benefits
- Paid internship with a stated base pay range of $20.50-$37.25 per hour for bachelor’s-level interns and $29.00-$45.50 per hour for master’s-level interns.
- At least 10 weeks during summer 2027, working 40 hours per week in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
