Base Salary
$117k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and support ViaControl monitor-and-control software for satellite antenna systems.
- Design, develop, test, and document device drivers and product features.
- Configure and deploy ViaControl across varied hardware platforms.
- Integrate software with satellite antenna systems and support hardware integration.
- Engage with internal and external customers to answer technical questions and resolve operational issues.
- Collaborate with product development teams and provide real-world performance feedback.
- Support software design, development, implementation, integration, and testing activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or currently pursuing such a degree.
- At least 2 years of experience writing Python.
- Familiarity with communication protocols including TCP, SNMP, or REST.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Ability to work in a Linux-based environment.
- Preferred experience with device driver development, hardware integration, Ansible, satellite communications, ground systems, or aerospace and defense domains.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
