Responsibilities
- Perform production deployments and participate in incident management and post-incident analysis.
- Develop business continuity plans and support compliance-related initiatives.
- Manage access and secure customer data.
- Migrate services from on-premises infrastructure to cloud and multi-cloud environments.
- Conduct security operations, monitoring, alerting, incident management, and disaster recovery activities.
- Architect cloud infrastructure, optimize existing services, and improve SLI/SLO performance.
- Coordinate cloud migrations and evolve application and infrastructure ecosystems.
- Participate in follow-the-sun on-call activities and communicate with stakeholders and customers.
- Coach and mentor team members.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
- Experience with Linux systems and/or Windows Server.
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration.
- Experience with cloud automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with a major cloud provider, including access management, networking, compute, serverless, databases, and monitoring.
- Bash and Python scripting experience, plus familiarity with application ecosystems such as Node.js, Ruby, Python, PHP, and Java.
- Experience with software delivery tools and practices, including Git.
- Knowledge of application, environment, and data security practices.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting, incident management, and disaster recovery.
- Ability to architect cloud infrastructure, optimize services, coordinate migrations, communicate with stakeholders and customers, and mentor team members.
