Responsibilities
- Design and build productivity applications and release technologies that improve Apple engineering workflows.
- Develop user-focused software features from concept through launch.
- Contribute to architectural and technical discussions and collaborate across locations and time zones.
- Write, debug, test, and maintain high-quality server-side software.
- Grow toward technical leadership of larger features and collaborate across organizational boundaries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in at least one server-side language, such as Swift or Go.
- Foundational knowledge of problem solving, software architecture, debugging, and testing.
- Passion for quality, attention to detail, and delivering strong user experiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple locations and time zones.
- Preferred: exposure to workflow orchestration frameworks such as Temporal.
- Preferred: familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, networking, or security.
- Preferred: experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as Cassandra.
- Preferred: experience with macOS or iOS app development and server-side development or systems programming.
