Base Salary
$170k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and review architectural plans and participate hands-on in implementation across multiple engineering teams.
- Set technical direction for shared systems and AI infrastructure supporting AI-assisted sourcing.
- Champion technology choices and guide adoption of AI across the platform.
- Mentor engineers across the organization and promote effective code review practices.
- Deliver reliable, high-quality software aligned with customer expectations and business timelines.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and leadership on strategy, collaboration, and technical decisions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience with ownership of outcomes, cross-team technical direction, mentoring, and product or business influence.
- Strong full-stack engineering experience with backend services, frontend applications, APIs, databases, analytical data stores, and search systems at production scale.
- Hands-on experience building AI products using LLM applications, retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, or embedding models.
- Experience with multimodal embeddings and search, agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph or LangChain, model fine-tuning or adaptation, and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Ability to work effectively in an AI-native development environment and share technical learning with others.
- Marketplace or multi-sided platform experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
