Base Salary

$148k - $186k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support automated test software for RF subsystems, electronic assemblies, subassemblies, and systems.
  • Design and implement test solutions, test strategies, test techniques, communications interfaces, hardware/software protocols, test setups, and procedures.
  • Develop application test software for multi-board and multi-processor systems using FPGAs and CPUs.
  • Support integration, qualification, acceptance, product development, engineering, and operations testing.
  • Develop and evaluate new test techniques, plans, and procedures with minimal direction.
  • Interface directly with customers to provide technical suggestions and support for design compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-site teams to deliver customer satisfaction and business improvement objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of relevant experience as a Test Engineer designing and implementing test strategies and techniques for complex RF electronic assemblies, subassemblies, and systems.
  • At least five years of experience developing automated test scripts or programs in a text-based IDE using technologies such as VB.NET, C#, or Python.
  • Experience with RF test equipment such as signal generators, network analyzers, and power meters.
  • Ability to meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements as a U.S. person or qualify for approval under a U.S. Government export license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Preferred experience with SVN, Git, or ClearCase; RF acceptance-test automation; hardware-integrated software drivers; TCP/IP, UDP, RS-422, USB, PCI, or CAN; software debugging and integrity tools; hardware/software optimization; software requirements; test automation devices; RF component testing; microwave and millimeter-wave signal analysis; NISPOM procedures; and an active DoD SECRET clearance or above.
