Base Salary
$150k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build highly available solutions across the full software development lifecycle for an internet-facing fintech site.
- Coordinate platform and information security efforts to remediate issues in platforms, pipelines, and development tools.
- Establish security-left practices and a strong DevSecOps culture.
- Develop and maintain developer-environment tools for macOS and Linux to improve productivity.
- Design and operate scalable, resilient Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Develop software and tooling to secure and automate cloud infrastructure and software delivery.
- Support distributed systems, FIX sessions and order routing, system tuning, performance testing, and hands-on troubleshooting.
Requirements
- 6+ years of DevOps or SRE experience and 4+ years of AWS experience.
- 6+ years of CI/CD pipeline development using GitLab, GitHub, or similar frameworks.
- 3+ years applying AWS security practices, including remediating SecurityHub findings.
- 3+ years of experience with DevSecOps tooling, including SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
- Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, Terraform or CloudFormation, and automated infrastructure.
- Strong Linux, command-line, scripting, configuration-management, networking, and distributed-systems knowledge.
- Working knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
- Strong coding ability in Python, Ruby, or Java beyond simple scripting.
- Experience debugging FIX protocol sessions, session management, and order routing.
- AWS certifications are a plus.
- Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, collaboration, teaching, and decision-making skills.
