Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation-based systems for data analysis, document management, and client intelligence.
- Research machine learning methods and develop models for NLP, speech recognition, time-series prediction, reinforcement learning, and recommendation systems.
- Build machine learning experiments and frameworks covering data ingestion, augmentation, feature extraction, training, fine-tuning, evaluation, monitoring, testing, interpretability, and visualization.
- Deploy scalable machine learning solutions into production in collaboration with partner teams.
- Develop large-scale frameworks that accelerate the application of machine learning models across business areas.
- Define and evaluate model performance metrics, business KPIs, data quality metrics, and automation cost savings.
- Implement ML continuous integration, artifact packaging, containerization, deployment, and automated hyperparameter searches.
- Develop unit tests and track training runs and metrics.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computational Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in the job offered, as an Applied AI ML, Software Engineer, Analyst in Engineering Division, Research and Development Team, or a related occupation.
- Experience developing and deploying production-ready NLP and speech recognition systems.
- Experience designing ML experiments and frameworks, including end-to-end model training, fine-tuning, evaluation, monitoring, robustness testing, A/B testing, interpretability analysis, and visualization.
- Experience with distributed deep learning, data processing, and model training frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace, Keras, Scikit-learn, NLTK, spaCy, Rasa NLU, NumPy, Pandas, and Spark.
- Experience processing large datasets and deploying models across CPUs and GPUs using AWS, Azure, and GCP managed cloud services.
- Experience applying logistic regression, gradient-boosted trees, RNNs, and CNNs to NLP and speech applications.
- Experience with Elasticsearch inverted indexes, BM25 ranking, custom analyzers, BERT, and Sentence-Transformers.
- Experience with A/B testing, statistical testing, experiment monitoring, and data-driven product development.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Docker, unit testing, static analysis, and test parameterization.
- Experience automating hyperparameter searches and tracking training runs and metrics with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and TensorBoard.
