Responsibilities
- Create test plans and execute QA processes in accordance with the software development lifecycle.
- Perform manual functional, behavioral, UX, device, operating system, browser, performance, penetration/security, regression, and smoke testing.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium with Java, Cypress, Robot Framework with Python, Playwright, Appium with Java, and Cucumber.
- Create informative defects in JIRA and Azure DevOps, verify fixes, and triage or escalate issues based on severity.
- Create and maintain CI/CD processes for automation tests using GitHub Actions, GitLab Jobs, Jenkins, and other tools.
- Coordinate test schedules and deadlines with project management and development teams.
- Prepare project health reports and keep stakeholders informed about project health.
- Confirm consistent experiences across multiple browsers and devices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Development or a similar field.
- At least 4 years of experience in QA roles.
- At least 1 year of experience in automation QA roles.
- Knowledge of Windows, OS X, iOS, and Android operating systems.
- Deep knowledge of industry-standard testing practices and processes.
- Proficiency with standard desktop and mobile browsers and operating systems.
- Ability to triage and prioritize defects effectively.
- Experience with JIRA, Git, and enterprise test management software such as Zephyr or TestRail.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Technical certifications are a plus; experience building Android, iOS, or web applications from a repository is also a plus.
