Base Salary
$200k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of advanced machine learning and AI models to improve marketplace algorithms.
- Design and architect robust MLOps practices for seamless deployment and scalability of models.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers on scalable machine learning systems.
- Develop a long-term technical vision and propose a roadmap for team objectives.
- Guide junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- 7+ years of experience in data science and machine learning, preferably in tech and marketplace environments.
- Knowledge of large-scale distributed application architecture and performance tuning.
- Ability to drive the roadmap for scalable, production-quality systems and communicate effectively.
- Practical knowledge of advanced machine learning algorithms and deep learning.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
