Base Salary

$121k - $231k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead security architecture and design reviews with product and development teams.
  • Perform threat modeling, code reviews, business logic reviews, and security requirements analyses.
  • Evaluate security posture, identify risks and threats, and recommend security controls and improvements.
  • Provide information security consultation and subject matter expertise for application and systems development, maintenance, and support.
  • Assess threats across web, API, mobile, cloud, IoT, networking, and AI systems.
  • Drive adoption of secure-by-design practices and shared security responsibility across product teams.
  • Develop AI agents, automation tooling, and automated processes for security workflows.
  • Provide expert escalation support when automated security solutions are insufficient.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience through work, military experience, or specialized training.
  • Security experience across multiple domains including web, API, containers, mobile, cloud, IoT, networking, and AI.
  • Product development experience, including software development lifecycle knowledge.
  • Experience securing large web, IoT, mobile, and/or AI systems through security requirements analysis.
  • Development experience with Swift, Java, Scala, Python, C/C++, or other programming languages.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving in complex technical environments.
  • Preferred experience with security vulnerabilities, penetration testing, and application security scanning tools such as Fortify and Tenable.
  • Preferred experience building AI systems and agentic workflows using Claude Code Skills, LangChain, or LangGraph.
  • Preferred proficiency in mobile security and application development across iOS and Android.
  • Preferred cybersecurity certifications including CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, CCSK, GSEC, GIAC, or GPEN.
  • Preferred experience with Jira or similar project management tools, cybersecurity frameworks, maturity models, and security debt reduction strategies.
