Base Salary
$62k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design secure, cloud-based communications networks and technical architectures for mission-critical GEOINT operations.
- Develop cloud-based solutions using cloud-native tools and support application modernization and migration efforts.
- Assess current client environments and recommend on-premises, cloud-based, hybrid, or multi-cloud tools and solutions.
- Inform cloud strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the cloud migration process.
- Lead a team in resolving complex cloud architecture and client challenges.
- Work with application development teams across the software development lifecycle.
- Acquire client requirements and optimize workflows through automation when applicable.
- Deploy hybrid solutions and perform testing and maintenance using automated testing tools when applicable.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of AWS experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing cloud solutions with cloud-native tools such as Kubernetes, EKS, ECR, or OpenSearch.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration-as-Code tools.
- Experience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and solving complex problems collaboratively.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration tools.
- Ability to deploy hybrid cloud or on-premises solutions and multi-cloud strategies.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Preferred qualifications include Agile experience, automation optimization, experience with multiple cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle, automated testing experience, and a bachelor's degree.
