Base Salary
$119k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical execution and architecture for websites, microsites, interactive applications, conference kiosks, panel experiences, and real-world evidence platforms.
- Write and review production-quality full-stack code while maintaining an approximately 50% hands-on contribution.
- Lead technical solutioning, estimation, milestone readiness, risk management, dependencies, deployment readiness, and post-launch technical delivery across concurrent engagements.
- Own Git workflows, code review standards, CI/CD pipelines, staging/UAT/production environments, access provisioning, and DevOps automation.
- Define and scale AI-augmented design-to-code workflows using Figma MCP and AI coding tools.
- Implement visual regression, accessibility, cross-browser, functional, and AI-assisted QA automation; triage defects and verify remediation.
- Define technical, accessibility, security, deployment, coding, and repository standards and mentor and onboard ROOM42 developers.
- Partner with UX, design, production, delivery, QA, technology leadership, and clients to translate creative intent into feasible, high-quality implementations.
- Own technical documentation, quality checklists, performance outcomes, UX fidelity, and accountability for preventing defects from reaching client UAT.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on development experience, including at least 3 years in a technical lead, staff engineer, or architect role.
- Demonstrable full-stack proficiency with the ability to build, review, and unblock work across every layer.
- Strong UX/UI and design judgment, including the ability to interpret Figma intent, evaluate user flows, and identify visual or interaction drift.
- Experience owning technical delivery, milestone tracking, risk communication, deployment readiness, defect triage, post-launch reviews, and process improvement across concurrent projects.
- Daily practical experience with AI code-generation tools and the ability to define team-wide AI-augmented workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Figma MCP Server or comparable design-to-code AI tooling, design tokens, and component handoff patterns.
- Production QA automation experience involving visual regression, accessibility automation, or AI-assisted test generation.
- Ability to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams, work independently under deadlines, and adapt as responsibilities evolve.
