Responsibilities
- Understand product architecture, existing performance benchmarks, automation frameworks, and release processes.
- Automate performance tests, product deployments, benchmarking runs, and continuous benchmarking workflows.
- Benchmark systems, triage results, and identify and resolve bottlenecks across the OS, network, storage, CPU, and memory.
- Enhance automation frameworks and maintain CI/CD Jenkins pipelines.
- Deploy test infrastructure and configure Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and DNS on vSphere, AWS, and Azure.
- Identify improvement opportunities and participate in automation code reviews.
- Collaborate with functional teams, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders on technical and functional needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related degree and equivalent experience, with 5+ years of experience.
- Deep understanding of Windows operating system internals and performance characteristics.
- Working knowledge of virtualization technologies and their impact on system performance.
- Programming and scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Groovy, Java, or C++.
- Understanding of CI/CD and continuous benchmarking practices.
- Deep understanding of public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Experience deploying test infrastructure and configuring operating systems and associated services.
- Ability to develop and maintain API, CLI, or UI automation frameworks and conduct automation code reviews.
