Base Salary
$185k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed directly with customers to integrate Kalepa’s software into their systems.
- Propose technical approaches, build working solutions, and adapt implementations to customer systems and data.
- Develop and use external-facing APIs and integrations with third-party systems.
- Own projects through completion with minimal oversight while communicating proactively with stakeholders.
- Experiment, measure results, and iterate on solutions to ambiguous customer problems.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and customer success to deliver customer impact.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, ideally including direct customer work.
- Experience building or using external-facing APIs or designing third-party system integrations.
- Strong ownership, communication, project execution, system design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Python; strong candidates from other object-oriented programming backgrounds may also be considered.
- Experience with serverless technologies including Lambda and EC2, asynchronous workflows, and cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and performance tuning, ideally PostgreSQL.
- Experience with LLMs/generative AI and distributed systems is a bonus.
