Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop vehicle-level designs and provide feedback on system requirements for embedded software.
- Design, implement, document, integrate, and support real-time embedded software written in C/C++ and autogenerated MATLAB.
- Lead advanced vehicle system controls research and development, including requirements, feasibility studies, project estimates, technical proposals, and implementation planning.
- Develop and integrate control strategies using model-based development tools, virtual simulation environments, hardware-in-the-loop simulators, vehicle testing, and production implementation.
- Work with RTOS, AUTOSAR, embedded systems, IoT, edge computing, architecture virtualization, version control, configuration management, verification and validation, and software development processes.
- Create and interpret UML software designs and ensure software meets functionality, memory, performance, and maintainability requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines, business support teams, suppliers, project teams, and customers as needed.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to entry-level and lower-level engineers.
- Research and update engineering methodologies, procedures, best practices, test plans, milestones, and project requirements.
- Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot, and production software and travel to off-site locations as necessary.
Requirements
- Accredited bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Five or more years of related experience.
- Preferred: accredited bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
- Preferred familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, Python, and SQL databases in addition to embedded C/C++.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on complex embedded software and advanced vehicle control development projects.
- Ability to plan and perform work involving complex technical problems, significant judgment, initiative, and limited precedent.
- Ability to lead or direct project estimates, feasibility studies, technical proposals, and engineering development efforts.
- Ability to mentor engineers and act as a lead worker.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, scientific and technical journals, regulations, and engineering documentation.

- Pay range is $91,500.00-$148,100.00 across U.S. locations, with individual pay based on scope, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
