Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust services powering lending, focusing on credit products.
- Build and maintain secure, scalable, and well-documented APIs for clients to embed credit products.
- Lead design reviews and mentor engineers to uphold high standards of code quality.
- Champion resilient, distributed systems design to ensure platform reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective lending solutions.
- Promote automated testing, code review, and monitoring practices for platform stability.
- Stay updated on industry trends and drive improvements in architecture and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with modern practices.
- At least 2 years in a technical leadership role, mentoring engineers.
- Strong foundation in computer science and object-oriented programming.
- Extensive experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
- Experience with domain-driven design and event-driven architectures.
- Proven track record in designing high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.
- Cloud experience with GCP or AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with observability tools like Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
