Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of scalable, performant, secure, and well-architected native Android and iOS applications.
Provide technical leadership on mobile architecture, frameworks, libraries, code quality, performance, accessibility, and security.
Write and review mobile code while maintaining high-quality and maintainable applications.
Collaborate with backend engineers to design and consume REST and GraphQL APIs and cloud-based services.
Mentor and coach mobile engineers and review technical designs.
Own mobile build, release, deployment, CI/CD, build automation, and app-store submission processes.
Champion automated testing, app stability, observability, crash reporting, performance monitoring, analytics, and responsible AI-assisted development.

At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience focused on mobile application development.
Strong experience building native Android and native iOS applications with modern mobile architectures and best practices.
Previous experience as a Lead Engineer, Tech Lead, or Senior Mobile Engineer leading a small team.
Experience integrating AI-assisted development tools and techniques into development workflows.
Hands-on experience integrating mobile applications with REST and/or GraphQL APIs and cloud-based services.
Experience with mobile testing frameworks, automated testing, mobile CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and app-store releases.
Experience with crash reporting, performance monitoring, and analytics tools to improve application reliability.
Comfort working with Git, Jira, Confluence, and modern agile engineering workflows.
Ability to mentor engineers, review code and designs, and balance pragmatism with mobile engineering excellence.
