Base Salary
$215k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide embedded operations support, capability integration, and rapid prototyping for AI/ML-enabled tools.
- Design and integrate LLM and agent orchestration workflows using LangGraph, Agno, and NVIDIA NeMo Agent Toolkit.
- Tune model gateway routing across frontier and open-weight models for cost, performance, and mission fit.
- Develop RAG pipelines, vector databases, and memory services for agent access to mission knowledge.
- Implement MCP-based tool-broker integrations for secure access to enterprise tools and data.
- Evaluate, benchmark, and tune models and agent behaviors through automated evaluation pipelines.
- Translate AI research and prototypes into production-grade capabilities with data scientists and mission analysts.
- Implement AI governance guardrails, content and safety filters, policy enforcement, and approval gates.
- Research and evaluate emerging LLM, agent, and AI tooling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline and 10+ years of experience; four additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for AI/ML application development.
- Demonstrated experience building or integrating LLM or agent-based systems in production.
- Experience with RAG, vector databases, and prompt/context engineering.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced mission environments and identify or escalate operational risks early.
- Master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Experience supporting USCYBERCOM, NSA, DoD cyber operations, or related mission environments is preferred.
- Experience with LangGraph, Agno, NVIDIA NeMo Agent Toolkit, NVIDIA NIM, vLLM, Ollama, LiteLLM, MCP, AI evaluation frameworks, model benchmarking, and AI workload observability is preferred.
