Base Salary
$129k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Administer and automate network-management architecture using ServiceNow, Splunk, and Cisco technologies.
- Write and optimize Splunk SPL queries and create custom alerts, dashboards, and reports for proactive monitoring and incident response.
- Manage and support compute, virtualization, container, and multi-cloud environments, including Cisco UCS, HyperFlex, VMware, Microsoft, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Use Python, Ansible, Terraform, orchestration, and virtualization technologies to automate customer infrastructure.
- Build and review high-level designs, low-level designs, implementation plans, and change-management plans.
- Diagnose and resolve complex operating-system, hardware, network, software, and outage issues.
- Lead server administration, patching, software distribution, security configuration, compliance reporting, and system-health reporting.
- Support customer delivery teams and strategic consulting engagements and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of professional experience.
- Hands-on experience with Splunk and ServiceNow.
- Linux administration or hands-on Linux experience, including Alma or CentOS.
- Experience with software programmability, automation, orchestration, and/or virtualization technologies, including Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Experience with ITIL-aligned customer-support processes.
- Preferred: experience with Cisco UCS, HyperFlex, VMware, Microsoft, Kubernetes, and other Cisco technologies.
- Preferred: experience integrating firewalls, IPS, load balancers, or WAN optimizers into data-center solution designs.
- Preferred: experience building and reviewing infrastructure design and implementation documentation.
- Preferred: ability to mentor junior engineers and lead high-visibility strategic consulting engagements.

- Starting salary range of $128,600.00 to $184,900.00, excluding incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
