Responsibilities

  • Develop and support Salesforce applications, processes, data, reports, features, fixes, and enhancements.
  • Create application software and determine appropriate technologies and solutions for new development work.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze application, process, data, and reporting issues and determine resolutions.
  • Test application code, features, functionality, and fixes, and provide quality assurance support as needed.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and users to support day-to-day business functions and clarify requirements.
  • Create and maintain IT systems and process documentation, including diagrams and related materials.
  • Train support staff and team members on software application use and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure activities comply with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Requires 5–8 years of software development experience, including at least five years of Salesforce application development.
  • Proficiency with Apex, VisualForce, Native, and JavaScript is required.
  • Experience developing customer-facing user interfaces is required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, HTML, and JavaScript is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software development in a modern programming language and the ability to write and understand complex programming queries are required.
  • Ability to interpret procedures, select technology solutions, resolve moderately complex issues, communicate technical concepts to nontechnical users, and manage changing priorities.
  • Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer certification is required or listed as a qualification; Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II and Platform Administrator II certifications are preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively are required.
