Responsibilities
- Contribute to software specifications and architecture in collaboration with software architects.
- Integrate software modules and support software and hardware integration.
- Develop software modules through detailed design, coding, and testing.
- Set up and maintain the software development toolchain.
- Conduct software module tests and verify deliverables.
- Apply software processes and standards to ensure quality and compliance.
- Implement reusable solutions and participate in Return on Experience initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Support programs in meeting Quality, Cost, and Delivery commitments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Engineering, such as IT, Computer Science, ECE, or EEE, or equivalent.
- 12+ years of experience designing software modules for complex embedded systems.
- Experience with MQTT, AMQP, HTTP/REST, and TLS IoT cloud protocols.
- Experience or understanding of embedded and RTOS applications and software processes.
- Knowledge of microservices design patterns, including API gateway, service discovery, load balancing, and fault tolerance.
- Knowledge of CENELEC SIL4, DO178A, and DO178B standards.
- Experience with AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT.
- Familiarity with Embedded C and Python.
- Proficiency with operating systems such as RT Linux.
- Understanding of TCP/IP and exposure to cybersecurity feature development.
- Strong communication and leadership skills for guiding and influencing within a matrix organization.
- Ability to innovate and create reusable solutions.
