Responsibilities
- Design, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Develop PySpark applications for distributed computing and big data processing.
- Optimize and troubleshoot complex data pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Integrate PySpark applications with various data storage systems.
- Apply data transformation, cleansing, and aggregation techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
- Work independently, contribute to team discussions, and provide solutions to work-related problems.
- Share knowledge and provide guidance to junior team members.
- Keep current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in PySpark.
- Proficiency in PySpark is required.
- Strong experience with distributed computing and big data processing frameworks.
- Ability to optimize and troubleshoot complex data pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Experience integrating PySpark applications with data storage systems.
- Understanding of data transformation, cleansing, and aggregation techniques.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
