Base Salary
$226k - $306k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop core backend services, APIs, and microservices for AI models.
- Build scalable frameworks and tools for multi-step agent workflows.
- Create robust evaluation systems to measure reasoning quality and task success.
- Architect high-performance serving infrastructure with strict latency and cost-efficiency guarantees.
- Ensure comprehensive monitoring and logging across deployed AI models.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to enhance AI development.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design and code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong full-stack fundamentals across frontend, backend, and data layers.
- Excellent debugging and technical investigation skills.
- Strong technical communication skills, especially in remote environments.
- Ability to work quickly and deliver value in ambiguous situations.
- Hands-on experience with integrating and orchestrating LLMs and agents.
- Experience building and scaling AI native systems in production.
