Base Salary
$106k - $223k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery with customer technical and business decision makers to identify needs, issues, and opportunities.
- Design and present Azure solution architectures, demonstrations, architectural design sessions, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Translate customer business and AI requirements into executable solution plans and production-readiness engagements.
- Remove technical blockers by coordinating with engineering, product, support, partners, and customer teams.
- Influence customer technical buy-in and accelerate Azure workload adoption, production deployment, and consumption.
- Develop customer and partner relationships and support partner sell-with opportunities.
- Share customer feedback, competitive insights, blockers, and product recommendations with Microsoft engineering and product teams.
- Conduct workshops, webinars, group training, and one-to-many technical enablement events.
- Mentor others and share technical best practices through internal and external communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field and 4+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience with cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructure; architecture design; migrations; industry standards; and/or technology management.
- Relevant Microsoft or industry technology certifications, such as Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, Azure Administrator, Azure Architecture, Azure Development, cloud platform technologies, information security, or architecture certifications.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $106,400-$203,600 per year; a separate San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area range is USD $137,600-$222,600 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position will remain open for at least 5 days and accepts applications on an ongoing basis until filled.
