Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end features across frontend interfaces, backend services and APIs, data models, and production infrastructure.
- Write and maintain analytical SQL over large-scale TV viewership datasets in BigQuery.
- Design and operate data pipelines and caching layers between raw data and product surfaces.
- Maintain authentication and authorization across Firebase, Auth0, and Firestore security rules.
- Manage integrations across GCP services and AWS, including BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Firestore, Cloud Storage, and S3.
- Instrument systems for testing, observability, and reliability, and own their behavior in production.
- Participate in architecture reviews, contribute to the technical roadmap, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience building and operating production software.
- Strong command of TypeScript or JavaScript across frontend and backend systems.
- Experience building backend services and APIs, including authentication patterns and token-based authentication flows.
- Ability to write non-trivial SQL using window functions, aggregations, and query optimization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, including serverless or managed compute, object storage, secret management, and scheduled jobs.
- Familiarity with eventual consistency and cache invalidation patterns in distributed systems.
- Proficiency in agentic development, including building or integrating LLM-powered workflows, tool-use patterns, or AI agents in production.
- Ability to navigate unfamiliar production codebases, distinguish live from legacy paths, and make safe changes.
- Experience with React and modern frontend architecture patterns is preferred.
- Firebase, GCP, AWS, ad tech, audience measurement, CTV/OTT, and ad measurement experience are preferred.
