Responsibilities
- Understand functional requirements and documented or lead-provided technical solutions.
- Build and implement ArcGIS Experience Builder solutions and extend or customize widgets.
- Develop and customize Web GIS solutions using the ArcGIS Server JavaScript framework.
- Automate repetitive GIS tasks using scripts and workflows.
- Build and deploy custom geoprocessing services and SOE/SOI components.
- Manage software in source control systems such as GitHub and Bitbucket.
- Build CI/CD pipelines for code deployment.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing and participate in system testing and system integration testing.
- Collaborate with clients and global teams to deliver GIS solutions.
- Guide and mentor other team members while managing project schedules and work independently.
Requirements
- At least four years of experience with Esri ArcGIS software, including Enterprise, Desktop, Server, ArcGIS Pro, and Online.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React.
- Knowledge of ArcGIS REST Services and experience with ArcGIS JavaScript and REST APIs.
- Ability to build, deploy, extend, and customize ArcGIS Experience Builder widgets.
- Experience with Python scripting; ArcPy knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience with PostgreSQL versioned enterprise geodatabases; branch versioning experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of database design and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Experience with Esri Utility Network core principles, including subnetworks, associations, containment, and tracing, is relevant to the role.
- Experience in the utilities domain, particularly electric or gas, is an advantage.
- Experience with Jira and the Agile methodology is an advantage.
- Advanced Excel capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication, adaptability, independent work, time management, and proactive project-schedule management skills.
