Responsibilities
- Shape the vision and execution of data management across its lifecycle.
- Build solutions to enhance data transparency and improve metadata processing.
- Design and own foundational datasets to reduce redundant transformations.
- Collaborate with Legal, Security, and Governance teams for compliant data usage.
- Define and uphold standards for data quality and observability.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills to build valuable datasets for multiple functions.
- Passion for making large-scale systematic improvements.
- Expertise in building and tuning large-scale data pipelines in Spark.
- Experience with complex data pipelines in Airflow is a plus.
- Track record of leading engineers and contributing to impactful software projects.
- Ability to drive technical projects and conduct code reviews.
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals and ability to adapt solutions.
- Experience in developing web services and building always-on systems.
- Product-focused mindset with a passion for client satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively and value diverse perspectives.
- Creative thinker capable of innovating beyond traditional methods.
