Responsibilities
- Develop backend systems and APIs using Core Java and Spring.
- Build dynamic user-facing features with React and JavaScript and integrate them with GraphQL APIs.
- Develop low-latency, high-throughput transactional services.
- Write SQL queries for real-time application investigation and analysis.
- Understand and modify the codebase, systems, and business applications to support product objectives.
- Participate in cross-functional projects, experimentation, iteration, and product roadmap development.
- Collaborate with business leaders and engineering teammates to deliver solutions.
- Use AI coding tools, Git, automation testing, and related development workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of software engineering and development experience.
- Core Java programming experience.
- Experience with Spring Framework, web services, and APIs.
- Front-end development experience with JavaScript and React.
- Solid understanding of GraphQL for efficient data querying.
- Experience with AI coding tools; Claude or Cursor is preferred.
- Strong SQL composition and analysis skills.
- Experience with Git and Gitflow.
- Experience with cloud development, especially GCP and AWS.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a positive.
