Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deliver, and troubleshoot agent components including orchestration logic, agent tools, and task queues for autonomous workflows.
  • Build and maintain MCP servers providing secure agent access to CRM, supplier directory, and payments data.
  • Develop, review, and debug secure, high-quality production code, primarily in Python.
  • Build Databricks data pipelines and feature-engineering jobs for payments data used in model training and agent retrieval.
  • Contribute to MLOps workflows including training jobs, automated tests, and promotion of model artifacts from development through UAT to production.
  • Create agent behavior evaluations, offline test sets, CI/CD regression suites, and LLM-as-judge checks.
  • Instrument services with OpenTelemetry tracing and improve operational stability through issue automation and remediation.
  • Validate enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Contribute to a diverse, inclusive, collaborative, and respectful team culture.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with applied experience.
  • Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficiency in Python and at least one additional language such as Java, TypeScript, or SQL.
  • Experience building and consuming APIs and event-driven services in a cloud environment.
  • Experience with data-processing frameworks such as Apache Spark and large structured datasets.
  • Working knowledge of LLM application development, including prompting, tool calling, retrieval, and evaluation.
  • Experience using approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI engineering practices, data sensitivity, and secure handling of inputs and outputs.
  • Understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, security, and agile development practices.
  • Practical cloud-native experience, preferably AWS, including containers and Kubernetes.
  • Preferred experience with Google ADK, LangGraph, MCP, A2A, AG-UI, Databricks, MLflow, Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, Kubernetes model serving, model monitoring, Salesforce APIs, payments or commercial card processes, supplier onboarding or KYC, and Terraform.
