Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, optimize, retrain, and maintain complex machine learning models.
- Design and manage MLOps pipelines for CI/CD, monitoring, model retraining, and reliable production operations.
- Research and evaluate generative AI technologies for business relevance and use in the National Security Domain.
- Deliver complex, high-risk AI proofs of concept and provide specialist generative AI advice.
- Integrate models with existing systems and assure that live models remain safe, secure, effective, and performant.
- Act as a technical expert, solve complex non-routine problems, influence technical decisions, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Broad technical expertise in machine learning, including deep knowledge of ML algorithms, frameworks, and best practices.
- Experience building, deploying, and managing complex machine learning models.
- Experience or capability in generative AI research, emerging technology evaluation, prototyping, and specialist technical advice.
- Data science experience supporting model development.
- Ability to obtain the required security clearance, work in the UK without sponsorship, and have lived in the UK continuously for the last 5+ years.
