Base Salary
$66k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Contribute to Azure DevOps-to-GitHub migrations and other CI/CD modernization efforts.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent tools.
- Troubleshoot build, release, and environment issues across development lifecycles.
- Apply secure engineering practices such as code scanning, testing, and policy enforcement.
- Use automation and AI-assisted tooling to improve delivery speed and consistency.
- Create reusable templates, modules, and standardized DevOps patterns while reducing manual effort through scripting and pipeline optimization.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, senior engineering, architecture, and client teams.
- Monitor pipeline health and deployment reliability and support logging, monitoring, and operational practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve performance, reduce cost, and simplify delivery processes.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in software development, IT, or DevOps-related work, including internships, co-ops, or equivalent practical experience.
- Foundational knowledge of Git-based version control, CI/CD concepts and tooling, scripting, cloud platforms, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience or familiarity with PowerShell, Bash, or Python; Azure, AWS, or GCP; and Terraform or similar tools.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, branching strategies, code management, and Agile or iterative delivery models.
- Preferred experience with GitHub Actions, workflows, repositories, and migrations.
- Exposure to Docker or Kubernetes, DevSecOps practices, code scanning, secrets management, GitHub Copilot, enterprise environments, or consulting engagements.
- Strong problem-solving ability, willingness to learn, teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
