Base Salary
$165k - $228k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate privacy engineering services for user control and data governance.
- Implement privacy-by-design patterns and data minimization controls across products and services.
- Build APIs, libraries, and developer tools for standardizing privacy enforcement.
- Collaborate with various teams to translate privacy requirements into technical specifications.
- Support privacy reviews and technical risk assessments for new products and data uses.
- Enhance the reliability and maintainability of privacy systems through testing and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or similar.
- Experience building APIs or backend services that support data governance and privacy controls.
- Familiarity with at least two privacy or security domains like anonymization or data retention.
- Ability to translate privacy and compliance requirements into software systems.
