Responsibilities
- Build and operate reliable, low-latency services that detect and prevent fraud and abuse at scale.
- Design APIs and dashboard experiences for investigating threats, configuring defenses, and understanding Radar protections.
- Develop shared platform and infrastructure for launching Radar capabilities.
- Work directly with users to understand emerging threats and turn those insights into products.
- Partner with ML engineers and data scientists to bring new signals, models, and AI capabilities into production.
- Own projects from technical design and implementation through rollout, measurement, and iteration.
- Maintain high standards for engineering quality, reliability, and product craft.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of industry software engineering experience.
- Strong coding skills in any programming language and experience building and maintaining production software.
- Ability to work across systems and technologies, learn unfamiliar codebases, and make thoughtful technical trade-offs.
- Rigorous problem-solving approach, including using data to investigate issues and evaluate solutions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across disciplines.
- Ownership mindset, comfort with ambiguity, initiative, and follow-through on user problems.
- Preferred: experience with distributed systems or real-time services with demanding reliability and latency requirements.
- Preferred: experience building APIs, developer platforms, or intuitive interfaces for complex workflows.
- Preferred: experience bringing ML or AI capabilities into production software.
- Preferred: experience in fraud prevention, abuse prevention, risk, or security.
- Preferred: experience taking products from early concept to launch and iterating directly with customers.
