Responsibilities
- Partner with developers, architects, product managers, and engineering managers embedded in authentication, identity, and payment squads.
- Conduct secure design reviews and threat modeling and provide actionable security recommendations.
- Assess source code, APIs, existing implementations, and security controls for vulnerabilities and improvement opportunities.
- Identify realistic attack paths and validate them through controlled security testing or proof-of-concept exercises.
- Promote secure development practices and reusable security patterns and support implementation of security improvements.
- Propose, lead, and contribute to security initiatives across authentication and payment ecosystems.
- Collaborate with the wider Security organization, including Blue Teams, Red Teams, Compliance, and Fraud teams.
Requirements
- Experience in cybersecurity focused on securing applications or digital products.
- Experience working directly with Product and Engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Ability to analyze security architecture and implementation details.
- Understanding of modern authentication and identity security principles.
- Proactive approach to identifying, proposing, and driving security improvements.
- Effective communication with developers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
- Interest in payment security and fraud prevention; prior experience in these areas is not required.
- Experience with web and API security.
- Cloud experience with AWS or Azure is a plus but is not required.
