Responsibilities
- Build new backend connectivity services powering millions of virtual machines.
- Lead the design and development of services connecting the control plane and compute plane.
- Develop scalable, efficient, and robust networking infrastructure for Databricks’ data and AI platform.
- Collaborate with product management, operations, and other engineering teams.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership as a seed member of the Bengaluru Networking Infrastructure team.
Requirements
- 12+ years of production-level experience with Python, Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language.
- 7+ years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with service-oriented architectures.
- Extensive experience in the networking domain.
