Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and optimize robust software applications across the full software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with consulting and BCG X teams on complex, international technology projects.
- Create web applications and APIs and deploy solutions on cloud platforms.
- Apply software development expertise to improve project execution and deliver value to consulting teams and practice areas.
- Optimize software performance and efficiency while contributing to collaborative team development.
- Engage with clients and consulting teams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Requirements
- Strong coding skills and proficiency in one or more listed programming languages, with experience in multiple languages preferred.
- Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Angular.
- Solid experience creating APIs using REST or GraphQL.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP and effective deployment on these platforms.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, Neo4j, and Redis.
- Additional experience with Spark, Hadoop, Docker, Kubernetes, CircleCI, Jenkins, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible is valued.
- Interest or exposure to AR/VR, IoT, AI, or Blockchain is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
- Proven end-to-end application development experience, preferably in a commercial or consulting environment.
- Open-source contributions or active participation in technical communities are highly valued.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
