Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end AI product lifecycle from ideation and prototyping through development, deployment, and optimization.
- Build evaluation frameworks, testing systems, CI pipelines for model behavior, and shared tooling for the AI team.
- Set engineering standards through code review, including testing practices, abstractions, observability, and production reliability.
- Develop conversational AI agents, deep learning systems, and personalized recommendations that adapt to individual member needs.
- Build and improve machine learning models that support sustained metabolic health improvements across diabetes and weight-loss use cases.
- Analyze member behavior and preferences to influence the product roadmap and drive metrics-based impact.
- Collaborate with clinical, medical research, business analytics, and engineering teams to create AI-powered experiences for members and clinical teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of industry experience developing AI and machine learning systems in production.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, system design, code review, and experience building CI pipelines and evaluation infrastructure for LLM-based systems.
- Experience building applications with LLMs, generative AI, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and iterative AI evaluations.
- Experience integrating and deploying models in production AI systems.
- Proficiency in Python and software engineering best practices.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with consumer-facing features, Voice AI, or specialized and multimodal language models is preferred.
