Base Salary

$124k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, code, troubleshoot, and maintain software components within secure, stable, and scalable applications and systems.
  • Consider upstream and downstream systems and technical implications when implementing software solutions.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and related engineering workflows.
  • Validate AI-generated outputs through peer review, automated testing, secure coding standards, and responsible handling of sensitive data.
  • Analyze diverse data sets to identify problems and support decision-making for application development.
  • Apply software development lifecycle tools, processes, methodologies, and technical troubleshooting practices.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
  • Experience with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Practical experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and AWS.
  • Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Preferred: familiarity with modern front-end technologies and experience with event-driven architecture.
